My second outing with the PF Locamotive wasn't quite as heart warming as the first - it was absolutely peeing it down, and only with the help of Reese's brolly did my stats page stay dry!!! Although the wind did its best to take that away from me as well!
We put up a good fight this week, much closer than the scoreline leads to believe. There were moments of genius, and we were in control for small parts of the first half, namely 10 minutes mid half which gave us 4 shots on target and some brilliant 1 touch play between Silky, Jonny and Phil. Sadly to no avail, and the only PF goal didn't come until the B.A linesman decided to switch off and allowed a shocking second half netter - clearly offside! (sorry Phil)
Luckily for the boys, I don't have the devices to keep track of pass completion, as that would have by far been the most shocking statistic! We seemed to revert to a 'hit-and-hope' strategy for the second half.... It didn't work for Sam Allerdyce and it won't work for you either boys!!! Think there is a training exercise in there for you somehwere Kempy!!!

As the season goes on we will of course be keeping a tally of various stats for PF Locomotive players to keep track of their own personal acheivements. Obviously at this early stage these don't amount to much, but thus far....

As a special shout to the big man himself, we will also be keeping track of Kempy's managerial prowess. And in this little tucked away corner of the site, is where you will find .... 'Kempy's Cliche of the Week!!'
Again, we had some absolute classics make their way out of his mouth on to the deaf ears of our players on the pitch, it is such a shame we can't put them all down. I will save them up incase we ever have a week where we are lacking (unlikely) This week's cliche comes from mid second half, after PF had just been awarded their third quickly-successive corner...
"...C'mon Boys...Make one of these count..."
As you guessed it... they didn't!!! Nevermind!
